This course is intended to educate servers and their managers of alcoholic beverages in Oklahoma on the dangers of serving alcohol to minors and over-serving alcohol to patrons with the intention of reducing alcohol related harm to local communities.
The Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Control Act (Title 37A) requires that:
All employees participating in the service, mixing, or sale of alcoholic beverages need to have an Employee License from the ABLE Commission
The employee must have completed a training program approved by the ABLE Commission to get their initial license
This includes the managers employed by a mixed beverage licensee, public event licensee, or a bottle club –regardless if the manager participates in the service, mixing, or sale of mixed beverages.
This course fulfills this legal requirement for Oklahoma employees.
