Course Description

The purpose of this course is to teach Michigan Healthcare Professionals to recognize and respond appropriately to the signs and behaviors that may be associated with human trafficking, in health centers and in other contexts. Includes information about the types of human trafficking, contexts, victims, criminals, reports and legal actions. Meets Human Trafficking Training Requirements in Michigan according to: MCL 333.16148.

Intended Audience

Michigan health professionals who must take Human Trafficking training pursuant to MCL 333.16148 for renewal or initial licensure. This is a one time training, however some health professions require ongoing continuing education regarding Human Trafficking. See your profession's administrative rules.
